Hello! Welcome to Forrest Projects – originally from Glasgow, Scotland but now living in Canberra, Australia. I earned my undergraduate honours degree in Design Futures from Edinburgh Napier University and most recently completed an HND in Sound Production from Glasgow Kelvin College (formerly Stow College).
My undergraduate honours degree in Design involved studies in:
- Graphic Design
- Product Development
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Web Design
- Design History & Theory
- Major Project & Dissertation
My honours year Major Project & Dissertation was titled “Visions of the Future” and examined how, throughout history and in modern times, conceptual design has been used to look toward the world of tomorrow and imagine how it will look and feel.
My HND in Sound Production included passing modules in:
- Audio for Multimedia
- Advanced Studio Techniques
- Live Sound Reinforcement
- Sound Production Practice & Digital Audio Theory
- Digital Audio Workstations and Digital Audio Theory,
- Management Skills & Legal Issues and Creative Industries Infrastructure
Each year required completing an extensive Graded Unit project to show professional development in each of these subjects, which I really enjoyed working towards and achieved A grades for both years.
This website is my portfolio in Visual Design and Audio Production projects. Have a look around and feel free to contact me at stevenforrest@live.com if you have any questions. Cheers!
