An earlier foray into producing music, this recording experience cemented my resolve to apply for Sound Production at Stow College. Singer/songwriter David Lan (aka Dear Lara) had booked a cabin on the coast of Loch Awe with the intention of recording his debut EP and invited me along as producer.

I learned valuable lessons about the process of producing a record and the discipline required to achieve high quality recordings. I would go on to use the skills and the working relationship I established with David during these sessions not only in my educational career but also to record his second EP, Cape North.
